National Express Leeds Manchester recent customer reviews
The bus broke and no replacement was provided by National Express. We had to take the following one, after 90 minutes, and lucky to find a seat available for us as it was almost complete. Other passengers were left there and could not reach Manchester. We risked to miss our plane. Terrible experience

Polite/confident driver but no ‘side kick’. Made up time from a fifteen minute delay. Value for money journey.

I went from Leeds to Manchester airport with National Express. It was the first time in many years. I usually take the train from York to Manchester airport, as I live in York, but the rail strike meant I cancelled my train ticket and travelled with NE. I couldn’t fault the NE service. I was a little unsure where the stand was, so left plenty of time. In fact it was very easy and the staff at the information point were very kind and helpful. I had expected the journey to be awful with the roads rammed with Friday traffic, but was pleasantly surprised that the journey went smoothly and ran on time. I liked the route being so direct with only Manchester City Centre before the airport. The bus was spotless, very comfortable and fairly new and the driver was friendly, thoughtful and professional. The cost was also very reasonable. At the airport, the bus terminal was very convenient for all the airline terminals and it was all very straightforward.
I just wish there was a NE bus direct from York, as someone drove me to Leeds to catch the bus. There used to be a direct Zapp bus taking 30 minutes from York to Leeds, but that is no longer operating. The coachliner goes all round the houses to Leeds taking a good hour.

I waited for many hours yet bus didn't come. We have no option than to arrange for a taxi to convey us Manchester. No reason was given. We were all stranded.
