Bus Tickets from Johannesburg to Harare

Firstly we were supposed to depart at 3pm only to depart at 3:30pm . Got to Zimbabwe side and the bus got arrested by ZIMRA at 10 am and we had to head to Masvingo only to be let free at 7 pm . I was supposed to arrive in Harare at 2:30 pm and still I'm not yet there. I'm very disappointed by this experience as this bus services came highly recommended

Was expecting Wifi from the offices when we were waiting for the bus and in the bus as we got luxury couch from Midrand. There is no proper communication with passengers. I almost missed the bus due to the operator's lack of communication.

I loved that they keep time and do exactly what they said they don't stop unnecessarily it was very good and I will always travel with Tamuka

It was horrible we waited at the border for 7 hours without explanations, just sitting there

This was the worst experience ever! Bus was delayed by 7 hours and then delayed again at the border by 6 hours. Service was terrible. I will never recommend this bus to anyone

The bus left 5hrs late, they had more packages for people not travelling than on the bus. We were at the boarder 6hrs as they didn’t have money to clear the goods from non travellers

Everything was ok except the lagauge packing .Some of the goods broke open and spiled e.g my blanket had paint all over

The bus was overloaded with luggage for commercial purposes resulting in the trailer having problems just after Pretoria. Purchasing a ticket online left us with no allocated seats. Bus had no cellphone charging cable and aircon.

Horrible. The station was incredibly packed and dangerous, and the bus staff couldn't help us get to the bus itself, even.

Let me convey my gratitude for the excellent customer service from the help desk ,drivers ,conductors .l experienced a move of God what outstood was prayers before we left JHB and leaving HRE .Drivers were very cautious,drove smoothly regardless of distance they made sure people’s nature needs were met (recess) M very lucky to encounter such.Hoping we have such buses in my hometown too(Plumtree).Will definitely use them in my next visit

The bus leaves the station and arrives on time. The drivers drive safely too

I recently traveled with Swiss 8, and I had a fantastic experience! The trip was smooth, and the drivers were incredibly respectful and professional. Safety was clearly a top priority, and I felt comfortable throughout the journey. The drivers' courtesy and expertise made a big difference. Positives: Swiss Express bus was clean and looked well maintained. Drivers did their job well. Negatives: Seat allocation is a big problem for someone travelling with family. We were family of 5. Myself, my wife and 3 minors. It can't work that a 5 year old is allocated a seat with a stranger, far away from their parents on a 1200km trip. It really took away all the excitement for the trip. I am doubtful I will use the bus again unless when travelling on my own. Please Swiss Express try to give an option to select available seats when purchasing tickets. They must introduce 1 short recess on South Africa side before getting to the Zimbabwe border. Thank you.

Swiss is and will always be convenient. Professional stuff, communication on point. Time efficient. You can't convince me to use any other bus

With regards to time management its 10 out of 10 but we did not have toilet breaks or to buy food the all journey both SA side and Zim side. Furthermore, the bus people do not comply with the luggage rules, they made us pay for our 22kg bags and when it came too seats they kept moving us so the driver can put their family members on the seats.

I honestly enjoyed nothing, the bus drivers were terrible, over speeding, evading police officers,endangering people's lives, they didnt have the appropriate paper work, unnecessary delays and no regard for their customers. I will never travel with this bus again!

Nothing to enjoy The bus left me at the border. I had to catch another bus which caught up with it. It arrived late in harare and parked in budiroro where were expected to sleep in the bus.

Your team (driver, conductor) is useless. They are incompetent, don't have customer care
